O'Rion, AKA Nathaniel Pettey, grew up in Minnesota where he began his musical journey as an independent singer/songwriter. He started writing his thirst songs in middle/high school where he mainly focused on acoustic guitar and vocals. Later on, he added percussion, bass, and electric guitar to his skill set making him a multi-instrumentalist songwriter.
